Portfolio: Music

Music, whether it is live gig action or rehearsals, promotional images taken in a studio or on location for advertising, self promotion, posters, flyers, leaflets, iTunes Releases, Cd Covers. 

The ability to produce a satisfactory end product, end use of images depends greatly on how they were taken in the first place.

Often many bands & singers have their own lights for live gig events, and working within the limitations placed upon me by the location and crowd, the task is to produce images that show emotion or generate a sense of the occasion, crowd scenes, the atmosphere, the emotion of the gig and the music.

One of the recent assignments for Uni was to do with expressionism and world music, this was a very enlightening challenge, to produce six CD covers with no text on them to clearly state what was on the CD music wise, the limitations were a great learning curve.   

I have worked with several bands and artists, to produce everything from A3 & A4 posters with graphics / logo's, t-shirts / merchandising, business cards, flyers, new drum skins, CD's of live recorded performances for sale, imagery for iTunes / Spotify release to the world, which I am very proud to have on my CV.
